I find it astonishing to see people are still affiliated with the catholic church even when there’s sooo many sexual abuse cases not just in America, but all around the world. If this was a different organization, people would leave for sure.
What’s fucked up is no priest is going to jail for this. If a regular guy gets caught for sexually abusing a kid, he would for sure spent atleast 10-20 years in prison. But you don’t see these fucking priests in jail..
Anyways, I truly despise religion, and I do believe it does more harm than good…but that’s a discussion for a different post.

As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse myself, I agree. It defies logic that people still "pay, prey, and Obey" as one priest who acts as an expert witness against the Church likes to say.
